American Carlton Bragg Jr. (208-PF-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Al Nassr Riyadh and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 28-year old power forward had a double-double of 30 points and thirty rebounds, while his team crushed Al Safa (#9, 1-4) with 19-point margin 86-67. Al Nassr maintains the 3rd position in Saudi Arabian SBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Nassr already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Bragg Jr. had a remarkable 68.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al Nassr's top player in his first season with the team. University of New Mexico graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bragg Jr. is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 15.2rpg) and averages solid 1.4bpg and 54.5% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Donte McGill (190-G-1995, agency: Green Sports Management) of Al Wehda Mecca. McGill impressed basketball fans with 42 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Al Wehda to another comfortable win outscoring Al Taawoun (#11, 0-5) 101-52. This victory allowed Al Wehda to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 3-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. McGill is a newcomer at Al Wehda and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 33.5ppg (#1). He also registered 5.8 boards per game. Florida International University alumni McGill played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

The third best performed player last round was American Wayne Chism (206-PF-1987) of Al Salam (#8). Chism showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, fifteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. Despite Chism's great performance Al Salam lost 79-100 to the league's current leader Ittihad (#4, 5-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Al Salam can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-4 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Chism has individually a great season in Saudi Arabia. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.4rpg (#1 in league).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
